Lest We Forget! A combination of crocheted poppy and forget me not button on a hanging blue ribbon as a Medal style brooch or corsage, with a button centre and single green woollen crocheted leaf.
A special and unique Poppy I will be donating the proceeds to charity,
This brooch or corsage has been hand crocheted in red and green wool yarns and is a very textural 3D brooch, the button in the centre is plastic, but the forget me not buttons at the top of ribbon are metal in composition,
This Corsage, or Brooch, would be ideal as a gift of love and by purchasing you will also be giving to a worthwhile cause. It would look lovely on any jacket and will be sure to be noticed.
The ribbon has been sewn to the centre of the poppy and secured at the top onto a silvertone pin mechanism, with a hook clasp, to help secure the brooch to your clothing and help it remain where you pinned it.
The yarns for this pretty item is 100% wool so washable with care in cool water, however I would suggest damp sponging, shaping whilst damp and drying flat to retain its shape.
Approximate measurements: The brooch is approximately 11cms by 8cms at its widest points. The depth of the brooch is approx 2.5cms in the centre.
