The beautiful autumnal shades of this yarn shouted at me across the wool shop and were the starting point for this design!

Full description
A tiny, bright red toadstool nestled among embroidered autumn leaves forms the design on this hand knitted brooch.
A tiny, oval suffolk puff of felt, mounted from the wrong (or closed side) has been embroidered with white thread. A white crocheted stalk has been added. The toadstool is stitched to a hand-knitted, pure wool background in a lovely yarn of blended autumn shades. Autumn leaves are hand-embroidered in cottons around the base of the toadstool.
The brooch is backed with felt and stiffened with interfacing. A brooch pin is securely stitched in place.
Height - 5.5 cm approx.
