The Old Sardine Theatre Company Presents MACBETH.
This tiny theatre measures about 13cms. ( tall) , and is made from an old sardine tin (washed of course) and then covered in papier mache.The 3 witches are made from coffee dyed linen with glass bead eyes and measure a tiny 3 cms excluding pointy hat and rusty bell.The spooky spider is made from needle felted wool with glass bead eyes and button thread legs and hangs from the roof by a thread (of course)! The rest of the ensemble is watercolour paint on thick watercolour paper with Indian ink and powdered gold mixed with gum arabic.The whole theatre stands on rusty bell feet .
The dialogue has been taken from act 4,scene 1 - 'Thrice the brinded cat hath mew'd ,thrice and once the hedge pig whin'd - harpier cries 'tis time 'tis time.
