Another area of my design work is dreaming and making up quirky little characters for brooches and illustration artworks. Building on the success of my little characters they have recently been developped as motifs for a contemporary range of journals and diaries

Start the new year with a hand made applique diary for 2013
Created using recycled materials mixed with offcuts using raw edge applique and patchwork techniques, embellished with machine freehand embroidery and beads.
A truly wonderful gift and completely re-usable for any A6 diary , journal or sketchbook.
The actual diary (A6 size)inside has a day to a page, and measures approximately 6 inches by 4 inches ( 15 cm x 10 cm ) With the applique cover the finished measurements are approximately 6.5 inches by 4.5 inches.(17 cm x 11 cm ) Spine thickness measures approximately 0.75 inches (2 cm)
Please note this particular design is made to order, therefore although the same base fabric is used, other fabric patterns and button embellishments may vary slightly adding to its own unique style.
In order to keep postage costs as low as possible and to help care for the enviroment, please bear in mind this item will be sent using recycled packaging.
