Full description
Pale yellow primroses, in cheerful clumps at the foot of a tree trunk, form the focus for the design of this brooch, which has been hand-appliqueed and embroidered. The hill side in the background is grazed by tiny sheep and lambs - a lovely spring scene! The primroses, in the foreground, are embroidered using silk ribbons. A border of crocheted braid is applied to the brooch, the colours blended to match those of the design. The circular shape is reinforced with recycled plastic from a bottle.
Felt is used to neaten the back. A brooch pin is stitched securely in place.
Please note: the colour balance in the main picture is very close to the original.
