A friend sent me this wonderful wool from her flock of sheep she owns in York, and so I wanted to make a lovely keepsake toy with it and bears are always best!

This charming handmade bear is knitted from wenslydale wool from sheep living in York.
Completely hand finished to the highest standards, Meaning that this bear is safe for babies and children, as well as making a wonderful collectable gift for a bear loving adult!
He is hand knitted and stuffed with polyester filling (conforms to BS1425, 5852 and EN72). He is finished with woolen felt for his eyes and nose and adorned with a hand dyed ribbon in gorgeous shades of forest green .
