The bright orange of this lambswool jumper leapt out as the perfect colour for a little woollen fox.

Full description
This little fox brooch started life as a bright orange winter lambswool jumper! With a couple of hot washes the wool fibres mesh together to produce a good surface for machine sewing into basic shapes and adding hand sewn embellishments to.
I've used black and tan felt for the nose eyes and ears, and all hand sewing has been created using black and white embroidery thread. It has a very small amount of polyester stuffing inside and measures 5cm x 4cm.
A safety catch brooch pin has been attached to the back with a hand sewn felt piece over the holes to make it look neat and for extra security. (see the 3rd image for an example)
It looks great worn on jumpers and cardigans, coats and jackets, or makes a fun feature on a hat or bag.
