This one's for the raptor in your life!
This is a great box for a larger garden.
Kestrels like a large box, as high up as possible. The box should be positioned 5m high, though they have been seen nesting as low as 2.5m. The opening should face out of the rain and wind, preferably between north & south-east. There is a branch to attach to the front face to allow the kestrels a good place to land alongside their box.
It's a pretty big box, measuring 55cm(21 1/2") long x 33cm(13") high x 29.5cm(11 1/2 ") with 15cm(6") roof overhang.
Opening size 25cm(10") x 18cm(7")
