Full description
A pretty and colourful brooch featuring an impression of flowers and foliage.
This lovely little wearable art piece was inspired by summer gardens and wildflower meadows.
I created it by free motion machine stitching on net and dissolvable fabric. The result is a delicate, lacy embroidery. I’ve hand stitched it onto a thick dark green felt backing, which shows through the holes. Strands of stitched greenery extend beyond the edges of the felt.
The brooch measures about 5cm square and has a brooch pin stitched on the back.
