When I was in school I learnt to enamel, I loved it at the time but haven't done it since.
I have alot of old coins which belonged to my Grandpa, and needed a use for them, I've been selling plain sixpence pendants for a while and wanted to do something else with them. I also wanted to start enameling again but because of the cost of setting up I'm not able to at the moment, so I looked for alternatives, and embossing powder has given the effect I was after.
I hope that I have created a fun new life for these coins, whether you call it recycling, upcycling or just reusing - I've really enjoyed making my Coin Jewellery!

Full description
I have made these earrings by using a pair of 1976 half pennies, I have decorated the coins with pale blue embossing powder.
The coins have ivory glass pearls hanging from them and are on nickel free earring hooks.
The earrings measure approx 47mm in length and will come gift wrapped in tissue paper and a organza bag.
