Full description

This handmade notebook was made from brocade silk. The colour is a beautiful pale blue with black and gold. On the front of the notebook I have stitched the word “Notebook”. I have also stitched a button and ivory ribbon is tied around the notebook as a fastening.

I hand stitched the seven signatures together using black hemp twine. The fabric has been glued to the grey boards. I also glued the two end papers to the board. The spine has been left exposed because I think it is a nice feature to this handmade notebook.

There are irregularities with this handmade notebook, the cutting and folding of the paper is not perfectly flush.

This notebook would make an ideal gift and/or stocking filler! It is lovely to look at, but is also a very useful and practical.

Measurements: Notebook is A6 size, 11cm (4.5ins) x 15.5cm (6ins)

100gsm plain white paper, 72 pages
