These sock monkey kits came out of my two loves, craft and teaching. They're very popular with my children's friends who love the fact they made them themselves and enjoy the story behind sock monkeys which I've included in the kits. They've also been tried and tested by my market customers who have sent pictures of their finished monkeys. We love making monkeys and each one has their own personality. We hope you love your own handmade monkey friend too.

This Sock Monkey Kit is born of a love of Americana and kitsch and is handmade in Devon.
It contains everything you need to make your own adorable sock monkey. He is grey and orange. When finished will measure 16 inches or 40cm from head to tail. We call him Andrew. Other sock designs are available on my other listings.

This kit makes a great gift for you or a craft loving friend and can be easily completed by children over eight.
This monkey will not be suitable for under threes because of the button eyes but you can substitute embroidered eyes.
