Turquoise Rose! Is a hand crocheted hat, featuring a textural cream coloured rose in a acrylic yarn as a lovely contrast to the turquoise blue cotton of the hat. I would estimate that this Baby hat would suit a small newborn baby, approx 6 to 9lbs.
The yarn for this crocheted wide brimmed hat is 100% cotton and is a pretty turquoise or aqua blue.
This lovely loose crocheted hat is washable with care at 30'C, but I would suggest handwashing and shaping whilst damp.
This is a classic style, with my own design touch, making this a unique item. Crocheted in a continuous line, starting in the centre at the top, so there are no seam or joins in the body of the hat.
This is a close fitting hat, with a wide brim which can be worn curled up as shown in the photos, or down on one side, all all around, in a cloche style.
Approximate measurements: I have taken many pictures so you can assess the style and size, when laid flat the body of the hat measures approx 17cms at its widest point and 13cms in height, with the brim turned down. The textual flower measured approx 7cms in diameter.
I thoroughly enjoy creating useful and unusual items with yarn. Knitting and crochet are so relaxing! This hat with its rich tones will go with so many outfits, perfect for a precious princess, or flower fairy whatever the season.
