My own photograph taken from the Straw Bear Whittlesea Festival 2012 of a Morris Dancers wonderfully decorated hat. I have simplified the photo with a half tone effect and brought out the detail in colours that show off this vibrant culture of the folk world and Morris Dancing.
All the designs made by Big White Hanky are based on the extravagant and unique culture of Folk and Morris Dancing. The colours, the atmosphere and the people are all something that seems to be misunderstood and overlooked but something we feel so very passionate about that we want to share it all through our skills of Graphic Design, Pattern and Print.
