It is written in a permanent pen with china white pigment. This is long-lasting and will withstand the elements.
It measures 6" by 12" (15.5cm x 31cm) approximately.
All slates are drilled with two holes at the top, so they may be hung with rope or twine or screwed to a wall. Alternatively, they can be propped up with a bamboo cane on the ground.
