I designed this as a "G for Geroge, G is for Goldfish" for my lovely grandson George. The 'weed' to the left is in the clear shape of a G in the first version I made for him.

Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
I designed this as a Goldfish in a bowl as something very special for a gift for my new grandson George. I loved it so much I added it to my catalogue.
The colours are gorgeous. The goldfish is made from beautfully textured bright red and amber glass, the water round the fish is in shades of blue and to the left is 'vegetation' in streaky shades of blue, green and aquamarine.
The fish is blowing bubbles, little clear glass gems which give a lovely texture to the finished picture. I've left the spaces between the bubbles for added effect..
It is 5 in diameter, hangs from a silvery chain and looks stunning.
This will make a wonderful present for someone or just for yourself as it is very special and absolutely unique.
I never make two pieces exactly the same. Even from the same pattern I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
