I make these roses in a larger size, and sometimes for bouquets. I have a huge collection of vintage wooden cotton reels which I have collected on my travels to flea markets and one day the idea of putting the two together just came to mind.....

For vintage sewing fans and lovers of old maps! This is a beautiful recycled miniature rose lovingly handmade from a rescued vintage atlas and standing in a gorgeous old wooden cotton reel, covered in blue thread.
( Please note this listing is for one flower, the photo is just showing different shades of blue thread).
It comes nestled in a gift box full of shredded book pages (from rescued, unwanted, recycled books), and tied up with some lovely rustic twine.
Would make a perfect gift for anyone who loves needlework, vintage items, paper flowers (or real ones!), or a great treat for yourself!
I can't guarantee the shade of blue you will receive, they range from light to deep blues, but they are all equally lovely!
I also make these roses on red and green cotton reels, please see my other listings.
