Vintage Bobbin Lace And Card
Description
This lace has been hand made on old fashioned bobbins, no machines were involved in making it.
It has an intricate floral design to the top edge with a beautiful scallop lower edge. The lace measures 23 inches long and is 4 inches to the bottom of each scallop. It is a natural cream cotton thread colour.
The lace is wound round a Vintage rose Post Card from the late 1890's, which measures 6 x 4 inches, perfect for scrapbook or card making.
I have made bobbin lace in the past and I know how time consuming it is. This piece would make a wonderful inset or border to your vintage sewing project.
