The bunnies are the first sock animal I designed using trainer socks as the proportions are just right for neck and body to meet with a decent chunk of sock remaining for a good long pair of ears. I love putting the faces on so I always leave this until last – each one has a slightly different expression as I cut all the felt pieces freehand.

Meet Rosie, a pretty pale blue patterned Sock Bunny Rabbit.
She measures 32cm from head to feet, not including her knotted ears which are 10cm long. She’s made from a brand new pair of pale blue ladies trainer socks covered in a pattern of cream dots and flowers along with pretty pink roses. Her face, ear tips and toes are a contrasting denim blue and she is stuffed with polyester fibre filling. Rosie has a cute bob tail and hand sewn felt features including a pale pink nose and dark pink eyes - no hard bits - so she's very soft and squidgy!
