Handmade by Catherine Johnson of Crimson Cuttlefish, pattern by Lisa Lam of U-Handbag.
This little pouch is cute and practical. It is the perfect size for handbag cosmetics, hair decorations, compact camera & accessories, stationary, mobile phone, medications, sewing repair kit and so on – the list is endless.
The fabrics are from my mother and grandmother's fabric stashes accumulated during the 60's, 70's and 80's. The striking floral striped exterior fabric in green tones is cotton while the lining is sumptuous lilac satin.
The fusible fleece inserted between the two fabric layers provides a degree of rigidity, allowing the pouch to keep its attractive shape and offering your contents protection.
You may wish to add a clip to either zipper tab which would then allow you to hook the pouch onto a stroller, bag etc.
