My chicken doorstops were designed after frustrations with a commercial pattern - it was just too time consuming for me to make! I was determined to make myself a chicken shaped doorstop though and over several weeks (and many, many, many designs) I came up with this final design. A few tweaks later and I had my finished doorstop. Friends liked them and I was persuaded to sell them - the rest is history :)

Meet Gardenia - a very cheeky chicken doorstop! She is a modern chicken and wear her 1960's flower towelling with pride!
Gardenia has been stuffed with rice for her photo shoot but she will come to you flat with a handy zipper on her bum so that you can fill her up with rice, sand or beans. She has bright felt details and buttons for eyes. She measures approx 14cm (6in) tall and 15cm (6in) wide.
