Zansar is a Sun Dragon.Sister of Phoenix,Zoraya and Nuala.. She is one of the Dragons who guard the Pyrestones, source of all strength and firepower for a Dragon.

Sun Dragons, when they break ,will have irridescent wings that reflect the Great Sun's power towards the stones. Since the Firelands are where all Dragon lives begin and end, they face all threats while holding their Pyreside position. They are very brave and dependable.

Wales has lots of Dragon history... the Tales of the Mabinogion tell of the Red Dragon, a Guardian and protector who sleeps under the hills and who'll re-awaken should we need his strength. I decided that I needed to make something for people to hang onto during times of need, to give them some security and hope.
