I loved the colours of this set of 3 socks, and wanted to make 3 creatures similar to each other. The ankle bands were very deep so I liked the idea of making it look like they are wearing polo neck jumpers with matching headbands.

Full description
This cute little animal is made from a new pair of children's socks with 'non-slip' stars that appears on her face, tail and bottom - she's a cross between a mouse and a cat! There were originally 3 in the set as shown in the group picture - just the pale pink one with cream heart remains.
She measures 26cm from toe to ear and has hand cut and sewn felt pieces for the face and ear insets and a cream felt heart on the chest. I've used the sock ankle band as a head band - this is removable. The arms have been sewn as part of the body so are not loose or separate. She has an 8cm curly tail and is stuffed with polyester filling.
