Description
Swooping out of the darkness on silent wings, the owl of the night...
'Night Owl' is a high quality giclée print of my original experimental watercolour painting. These paintings require creative confidence and courage as the paint swirls and forms its shapes.
The image is approximately 7.5" x 9.5" (19 x 25cm) and the paper is 8.5" x 11.5" (21 x 30cm) about A4 in size, leaving a lovely white border for framing.
Printed on the finest quality acid-free archival Hahnemuhle 310gsm matte paper; a beautiful thick paper with a texture like the original watercolour paper. Hahnemuhle papers are like the Rolls Royce of papers! The inks are archival Epson pigment inks and guaranteed not to fade for over 120 years.
The print is signed, titled and dated under the image.
This print sits beautifully with my 'Geese Calling' print, shown in the last photo.
I can create custom sized prints and there are smaller print sizes which fit into standard sized frames listed available in my shop.
Each print is packaged with love in a rigid mailer and protected by a plastic sleeve. Orders shipped within 2 days from the time of payment.

Inspiration
At dusk, walking in the countryside, the white orb of a barn owl's face peered out at us from the leafy branches of a tree. It swooped off so silently as night fell, it was as if it was dragging the darkness and the stars with it.
I love playing with my experimental watercolour technique to see if I capture these flights of imaginings that come to me...!
