I love old books, I love costume dramas, and I like to recycle. I'm also a fan of bunting. I've seen wooden bunting in a few different shops, usually with a union jack or painted in a shabby style, and when I was wondering what to do one day with a stack of old books 'book bunting' suddenly popped into my head! I think it's really pretty as a decoration, but I also think it would be fab for weddings - using your favourite romance...

Full description
Book themed wooden bunting. This bunting is made from MDF triangles which I have coated with pages from Jane Austens Sense and Sensibility. Each edge of paper was torn rather than cut to give it a much nicer look and glued using a light coating of pva glue. The bunting has 5 triangles. 2 of the triangles have hearts torn from pages of the book which I then painted with acrylic paint.
The triangles are not varnished or coated as I wanted them to retain that book feel.
Each piece of bunting measures approx 150x108x4mm, they are attached together with brown garden twine.
