I work in the virtual environment where the computer screen has become my sketchbook and workbench. This new medium of design allows me to create and control intricate details and allows me to easily adjust a piece. I then use a process of rapid prototyping and casting into precious metals or Direct Metal Printing in stainless steel.

The jewellery I create is inspired by “Structures”. Through my process of research and development I have drawn inspiration from the world around me. I have explored a broad range of both man made and natural structures – from the physics of how a building stands to the skeletal form of a leaf, to the structure of bone under the microscope. Following this research I take a shape and manipulate it digitally to create the forms seen in my designs.
