Morning Song Wood Warbler Gocco Print on Sheet Music
Description
This Beautiful Wood Warbler is drawn by my own hands and translated on to a screen for screen printing is printed on lovely old music from a beautiful but sadly neglected book I found in a local charity store buried under a lot of knitting patterns.
The Wood Warbler is an incredible bird, despite being tiny and weighing less than 10 grams each bird makes a round trip from Africa to the UK and parts of Europe every year. That's a lot of air miles. This bird is a joyful Warbler in mid song.
The page is from The New Cathedral Psalter Chants which dates back to 1909 making it over 100 years old. It's red cover had been handled so much that it is loosing it's colours, I love to imagine the hands that may have held this over the years in church choirs. The pages were falling out and just crying for a new lease of life.
Perfect for the music lover in your life.
Measures 7.5 x 6 Inches (190 x 150 mm) Image covers the middle of the paper with approx a half inch border around sides and to with a quarter inch at the bottom.
