This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

This is one of my very own designs and I think it is quite stunning and very special.

It is a big heart containing 2 smaller, bright red hearts and these are surrounded by different shades of glass in all the colours of the rainbow.

I have also used some very pretty streaky 'blood red' and deep pink streaky glass at the bottom of the heart for added effect. Inside each of the two smaller hearts is a gorgeous multi-colour heart bead.
I have used some lovely glass in this piece. The two red hearts are actually made of 4 different types of shiny red glass, each a slightly different colour and texture.

The suncatcher looks absolutely gorgeous hanging up, in the window where it catches the light and the textures of the glass make it sparkle. It also looks lovely just hanging against a wall. A silver coloured little chain is securely attached to the top of the Heart with a little ring to hang it.

This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use different variations of colour and textures of glass. It is 12cm wide and 14cm high.

The Heart will make a wonderful present, at anytime, for someone you love.
