'Father's Day 'Tied to My Bib' is a fun and quirky Babies Bib made from 5 portions of Gent's neck ties! Totally unique, quite a talking piece and totally up-cycled, so very eco friendly too!
The Gent's neck ties have been cut and placed side by side, to form an elongated patchwork of coloured stripes, then hand sewn in colour matching cotton. The neck ties have been made from two longer lengths of ties, which also form the outer portions of the bib, so that it can be simply tied in a bow behind your child's head. The cut ends have been simply folded in on themselves and edge sewn to prevent fraying.
If you have a messy man in the house, this might make a great and quirky Father's Day Gift! It is certainly large enough to go around an adults neck too!
The inside of the apron has been lined in white cotton, sewn to the side edges, and the cut edges of ties have been covered with more tie portions.
Can be machine washed at 30'C and as with ties, ironed on the reverse.
Approximate Measurements The body of the bib measures approx 24cms by 23cms at its widest point. The total length including the neck ties is approx 70cms.
