I have been making bears for over 15 years and, over that time, the bears have become steadily smaller. This black fabric was a nightmare to sew, simply because you can't see what you're sewing, so this little bear had to take on a special character! He waited quite a while for inspiration to strike me but I think it was worth the wait!

Henry is looking for a loving new home.
He is a tiny little teddy bear, ready to give you all his love. He is wearing his favourite ladybird costume.
Henry is a one-of-a-kind miniature artist bear: one of a range of "Fancy Dress" or "Costume" bears that I have made over the last few years.
He is completely handmade from my own design: the black upholstery velvet fabric is hand stitched; the nose hand embroidered in dark brown thread; his paw pads are made from black ultrasuede and his limbs are thread jointed so he can stand or sit. His eyes are shiny, black glass seed beeds and he is filled with polyester stuffing. His ladybird top is made from red and black felt and his "antennae" head band is made from very fine wire embellished with red felt hearts. On his arm, he has a little ladybird made from wooden beads.
He stands just 4.4cm (1 3/4in) tall or 5.5cm (2 1/8in) including antennae!

All my bears are made and stored in a pet/smoke free home.
