A huswif or housewife is a portable sewing book designed to carry a few essential items. The name originates from when men, going to war, would take a "housewife" with them to allow them to darn their own socks, sew their own buttons, and take care of other little things.
This huswif consists of multiple pockets to hold mini scissors, measuring tape, a seam ripper and a thimble, sheets of aida fabric for holding pins and needles and a gorgeous little pincushion.
