Books seem to be going out of fashion with electronic devises becoming the norm. I wanted to give used books a new lease of life as well as creating a talking point for a great wardrobe staple that every woman uses. An original bag is loved by every lady and a great talking point!

This is an up-cycled hard back book of dreams made into a beautiful handbag - an original one of a kind piece. The book was purchased as a used book (so has been read and enjoyed) and i have used tremendous care and craftsmanship to create a bag that is small enough to not get in the way but large enough to hold those essential items every lady has!
The book is "1001 Dreams, An Illustrated guide to dreams and their meanings" and was chosen as the book cover is illustrated so beautifully and makes a wonderful, original and decorative bag. The book has been strengthened and fully lined inside with a complementing cotton fabric that features little stars to match the stars showered over the front and back of the book bag.
The gold chain is industrial strength chain which is really strong and also comfortable to wear and match the gold stars. It is long enough to be worn over the shoulder and be comfortable. When not in use the chain can be stored inside the book bag and and the bag can be stored on a shelf just like a real book can be! The book bag is fastened with a loop and a speckled gold button so your contents will not be lost.
While the bags are not fragile, care should be taken with them. If you treat your Book Bag like you would treat a treasured old book, you will be able to enjoy it for years and years to come.
