I had this beautiful piece of hand-dyed fabric that I bought a couple of years ago in the USA, it just reminded me of a stormy Autumn sunset and I knew I wanted to do something different with it. When we were in Albuquerque 2 years ago I came across some lovely copper art that had been heated and treated and resembled this fabric and I took my inspiration from a group of 4 that had a sun set into one corner.

This is an original piece of art comprising of hand-dyed cotton, with variegated gold / yellow thread machine embroidered in circles, then split into four equal pictures and mounted on wooden frames.
Each piece if 13cm (5in) square, the frames are 2cm deep
