If you are unhappy with your suncatcher or it is damaged on arrival please contact me immediately by email. This suncatcher must be returned within 7 days of receipt for a full refund in it's original packaging. Please note that as this is made from glass unless well packaged it may breaking in the post, a refund will not be given if it is broken upon receipt. Customer orders are non-refundable unless damaged when received.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Here are some lovely sun catchers in the shape of a bee made out of beautiful stained glass.
Each piece of glass has been cut, ground, foiled and then soldered together. The glass used is yellow water glass, clear irridised granite back glass, black glass nuggets for the eyes. Additional strips of copper foil have been laid across the body of the bee, soldered and then a patina applied to blacken the solder. Wire has been twisted for added detail on the antenna and a wire ring added for hanging purposes.
These bees measure 11 cms by 6.5 cms excluding the antenna.
This would make a great present for a bee keeper and would go really well if hung with one of my butterflies or dragonflies.
I will supply a good quality sky hook so that you can hang this in your window or on a mirror, please do not use cheap or the small variety of sky hooks as these will fall and your bee may break.
Unfortunately due to Royal Mail postage increases I have had to amend the postage and packaging charges shown.
