'Old Lady Swearwords', a typographical art print inspired by my grandmas.
Swearwords featured in this bold, fun print include; sugar. flamin' nora, buggeration, gordon bennet, damn, bother, shoot, fiddlesticks, blast, dash it & bloody hell.
I created the original list in the letterpress studio using beaten up ol' wooden and metal type (i've included a photo of the machine and type used). I then screenprinted a reversal of the original (retaining the mottled surface of some of the letters).
Hand screenprinted in my tiny home studio (whilst drinking lots of cups of tea). See photos of the studio here http://flic.kr/s/aHsjuWxguton Printed on A3 Seawhite 140gsm cartridge paper. This version is printed in a lovely DARK GREY. Other colours available in my Folksy shop are green, light blue and red. Be aware that different monitors show colours slightly differently.

Can be trimmed to fit Ikea 'Ribba' frame - see photo. Let me know if you would like me to trim your print.
