Full description
Beautiful roses are embroidered, in relief, onto this lovely hair barrette or hair slide.
The background for this embroidery is hand knitted in a wool blend yarn in a dark charcoal colour. The yarn has an almost-felted texture before knitting. Moss stitch has been chosen to add texture to the design. The roses, leaves and gypsophila flowers are embroidered in knitting ribbons and tapestry wools using ribbon embroidery techniques.
The barrette is stiffened by a layer of interfacing. The back of the design is neatened with felt and a standard hair clip is securely stitched in place.

Length of finding - 8cm approx.
Length of embroidered panel - 10 cm approx.
