A 3 string Guitar style Stick Dulcimer tuned to D. All my Instruments are hand made by me from FSC sourced timber. Included with the Instrument is a free protective bag, a strap and some picks. My usual price t is £200.

This Instrument is made from Far Eastern Meranti which has a lovely rich browny red colour. The body has Maple bindings, Black/White Inlay, a brass tail piece (also made by me) with a strap button. The sound hole is also finished with Black/White inlay. The neck is made from Maple and features a Rosewood fretboard with real mother of pearl inlay dots.

What is a Stick Dulcimer?

The Stick Dulcimer is a guitar style version of a traditional Dulcimer. It has the same scale length as a guitar but is fretted on a diatonic scale and tuned to D-a-d, but what does this mean? This basically means that it is very hard to hit wrong notes and make mistakes! It is great for complete beginners but also has a lot of scope for experienced musicians. I have run out of space!
