As soon as I saw this old vintage rocking horse I knew what I wanted to do with it. I really wanted it to be something of a candy filled circus theme. Pastel colours, stripes, spots, to make it look like it wouldn’t be out of place in a vintage circus.

rock-ing horse
Noun
A model of a horse mounted on rockers or springs for a child to sit on and rock back and forth.
Here I have upcycled an old vintage rocking horse from the 1960's. Coral candy stripe fabric for the seat with studded upholstering. Shabby chic white and teal wash sanded and varnished. New hair applied. Original features kept.
My theme was around the idea of a 'Candy Circus'.
This item will be for collection. I will of course help arrange a courier.
