This is an original collage of the Tuscan Landscape in the Summer.

180gsm acid free watercolour paper has been painted a mixture of sunshine yellow and vermillion using indian ink. On top of this strips of dark fawn paper has been layered with shades of green, yellow and orange paper cutouts to create depth and to form the Tuscan hillside. These paper strips have been layered onto the paper to accentuate the topography of the landscape. Burnt Umber Indian Ink has been added to the fawn paper to add more depth to the collage.

The cream mount is 1.25” (3cm) deep and has been signed and dated by myself.

Notes:
The Item will be sent within 3 business days (not including weekends and holidays) after receiving payment through PayPal. For posting the bowl will be wrapped in bubble wrap inside a cardboard box.

I wanted to show how simple strips of paper could be layered to produce the effect of the beautiful Tuscan landscape. Other materials such as ink and seeds were used to add depth to the collage.
