Mini African Violet! Is a hand crocheted hat,featuring a textural flower with a little yellow button at its centre. I would estimate that this Baby hat would suit a baby from 0 to 6 months.
The yarn for this crocheted hat is Chenille and is a deep rich purple blue. The shade colour is French Navy, but has a definate purple hue, difficult to capture in the photographs.
This lovely loose crocheted hat is washable with care at 30'C, but I would suggest handwashing and shaping whilst damp.
This is a classic style, with my own design touch, making this a unique item. Crocheted in a continuous line, starting in the centre at the top, so there are no seam or joins in the body of the hat.
This is a close fitting hat. Crocheted on a large hook to give a loose almost lace like stitch.
Approximate measurements: I have taken many pictures so you can assess the style and size, when laid flat the hat measures approx 18cms at its widest point and 14cms in height. The textual flower measured approx 6cms in diameter.
I thoroughly enjoy creating useful and unusual items with yarn. Knitting and crochet are so relaxing! This hat with its rich tones will go with so many outfits, perfect for a precious princess or flower fairy whatever the season.
