Spring is on the way...

A cluster of pink felt flowers in various shades decorate this brooch. It is completely and carefully handstitched - the stitches holding the flowers in place are visible and form the flowers stamens- each flower is finished with a french knot in the centre.

The flowers are sewn onto a 70mm green felt background which is stitched to a green felt backing piece - this has the 25mm brooch pin securely stitched to it. Inbetween the layers is a little wadding and a circle of cardboard to stiffen.
