Writing Slope - solid mahogany
Description
This Writing Slope is handmade in reclaimed solid mahogany with boxwood stringing and an inlaid centrepiece.
The interior has green leathered slope with gold tooling .There is storage underneath for stationery.
There is a pen holder at the top of the slope with pen storage underneath. There are 2 compartments ,1 each sde for stamps, clips etc. where once would have been inkwells.
The box has a solid brass lock and is finished in silky smooth lacquer .Size 353mm x 232mm x 110 mm
Inspiration
It is an item of furniture I particularly like and enjoy making.
