Two Tone Tied to my Lapel! Is a wonderful, textural, structural and 3D Brooch, fashioned in the form of a folded tie, which is not surprising as it is made from the narrow end of a gent's neck tie.
The two tones are a deep burgundy purple and midnight blue!
This brooch would be ideal for a Birthday, Anniversary, or just as a gift of love. It would also go wonderfully with the handbag 'Tied to Lavender'which will be listed separately, as the same beige neck tie has been used in both items.
The brooch has been secured onto a silvertone pin mechanism, with a hook clasp, to help secure the brooch to your clothing and help it remain where you pinned it.
The gent's neck tie for this pretty item is 100% polyester, but I would suggest sponging or handwashing, shaping whilst damp and drying flat to retain its shape.
Approximate measurements: The brooch is roughly rectangular and measures approx 7.3cms by 4cms, the width where the pointed portion of the tie extends measures apprpx 5cms. The depth, including the pin mechamism is approx 2.3cms.
This would be a gift for all seasons. Would look lovely on any item of clothing, but would also look fantastic secured to a favourite handbag, giving it a new look.
