This wire jewelry tutorial shows you how to create DOUBLE CIRCLE FRAME LACE UPS PENDANTS and EARRINGS as well as two versions of LEAF FRAME LACE UPS PENDANTS, with lots of photos and step by step instructions, including tips on shaping and hammering wire, as well as wrapping and coiling techniques.
Once you have mastered the techniques within this tutorial, you will be able to create your own variations of pendants and earrings with different shaped frames.
MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED:
20 gauge soft round wire (for pendants)
22 gauge soft round wire (for earrings)
26 gauge soft round wire
Rondelle beads
Briolette and coin beads (for variations)
Earwires/necklace chain
(NB. Plated wire is NOT suitable for the hammering and sanding elements of this tutorial)
TOOLS YOU WILL NEED:
Wire cutters
Round nose pliers
Chain nose pliers
Nylon headed pliers
Dowel, Smooth headed hammer
Stainless steel bench block
Sanding pads (3 grades: 180, 220, 280)
Polishing cloth
Ruler or measuring tape
