I was inspired by breast plates that warriors war and initially intended to make a necklace with 3 different textured interlocking plates. I decided that might be too over the top so went for this version. I think the hot pink tourmaline adds a touch of femininity to it.

Full description
This pink tourmaline necklace is made from textured silver and has been designed to look like a found treasure. I have used acquatint techniques to add a textured finish to the silver and to give it a distressed appearance, there is a deliberate small hole in the pendant. The magenta pink oval tourmaline is set off centre and really brings the pendant alive. The pendant hangs off a silver chain and is fastened with an S-hook.
This necklace will appeal to you if you like jewellery that stands out from the crowd and like to wear pieces that no one else has. This is a complete one of a kind item.

Diameter of stone: 1.25 cms/.5 of an inch
