I've always loved chain maille and wire work and after working with wire and beads on my stained glass work (see Raven's Stained Glass, also on Folksy) going into jewellery making was almost a natural progression for me.
Nevar is my new venture, born from that progression.

This delicate looking pair of earrings could quite easily be worn every day, or even on a special occasions such as a gothic wedding. I love the way the sparkly black Swarovski crystals combine with the black wire to create this pair of earrings.
Tiny spirals of 0.2mm black wire have been formed to make the oval frame for the tear drop shaped crystals and they are attached to gun metal coloured ear wires. The earrings measure just over 1.5 inchs, or 4cm, from the top of the ear wire to the bottom and are presented in a silver grey gift box.
