I've always loved chain maille and wire work and after working with wire and beads on my stained glass work (see Raven's Stained Glass, also on Folksy) going into jewellery making was almost a natural progression for me. Nevar is my new venture, born from that progression.

Each and every movement you make will bring these beautiful earrings to life and they will sparkle and glitter as they move. They would be just perfect as a gift for Mother's Day. The lovely Shaggy Loops chain maille weave used to make these earrings has been further enhanced with the addition of tiny glass seed beads in all the shades of the rainbow .
Tiny silver lined glass seed beads were individually slipped on to 5mm silver plated rings which were then woven into the Shaggy Loops chain maille weave. The chain maille sections were then hung from sterling silver ear wires. The earrings measure just over 1.75 inches, or 4.5cm, from the top of the ear wire to the bottom. They come presented in a beautiful silver grey gift box.
