I wanted to make a piece of jewellery that looked like it had come from another planet and was distressed looking. This bangle has an uneven finish that looks quite lunar-like, like the surface of the moon. It's mostly unpolished apart from on the silver whirls and has a raw beauty about it - or at least I think so!

Full description
I made this bracelet with 4 mm silver wire. It has been heated to melting point to create an uneven texture that makes me think of a lunar landscape. Three silver pieces of partially textured silver wire have been placed equidistant,wrapped around and soldered. The bangle is unpolished apart from on the wrapped areas which gives it a whitish appearance. This is a total one of a kind piece.
The diameter is around 6 3/4 cms.
