I love to combine my photography with polymer clay. This is a unique and original design using one of my favourite butterfly images.

A lovely bookmark made from polymer clay and butterfly images. A perfect gift for Mothers’ Day.
The bookmark is made from two circles of white polymer clay. I have transferred one of my butterfly photos onto each and then stamped with purple alcohol inks.
They are securely attached with large rings and onto a silver plated bookmark. The bookmark is simply hooked over the spine of your book, to ensure you never lose your place.
The larger circle measures approximately 4cm/1.5” across and the smaller one 3cm/just over 1”. The silver plated part of the bookmark is approximately 8.7cm/3.5" long.
I have hand sanded the charms, leaving them mostly beautifully smooth, but have left the odd indent which I feel adds to the rustic, distressed feel.
The bookmark comes in an attractive organza bag and is carefully packaged, before being posted 1st class (via airmail if outside the UK). I try to reuse envelopes whenever possible.
PLEASE NOTE that polymer clay is not a toy and I do not recommend this item for young children due to small parts. Although polymer clay is perfectly suitable for its intended use, it is not indestructible!
