This accessory is hand knitted from a discontinued red/burgundy shade of delightfully soft Alpaca yarn. This shade of red has a very subtle gradation in tones. I have a very limited quantity of this yarn.

Although the knitting is loose, to make this poncho appropriate for summer wear, the weave is tight enough that with a yarn such as Alpaca it will be surprisingly warm.
